Why not parse N-PORT ourselves?
You certainly can. The filings are public, and a first pass can be built in a weekend.
The ongoing work is the part we sell. We keep a universe of the 50 largest U.S. fund complexes current, process every Part C filing into top-100 positions and a stated aggregate tail, project as-filed weights forward each night, carry identifiers that join to your book, and stamp every row with its source filing.
Is this real-time holdings data?
No. No fund reports its book to anyone intraday, and we do not pretend otherwise.
Funds report holdings periodically to the SEC. We take the newest filing for each portfolio and carry its weights forward to today using price drift. Every row includes the source filing's report date and its age in days, so you always know the basis behind the position.
Why measure activity in the fund's own shares?
Because those shares are the exit you actually take.
When you sell a fund position, you trade the fund's shares. The pace of that exit depends on the fund's own daily activity: exchange volume for an ETF, sales and redemptions for an open-end fund. Portfolio-liquidation analysis answers the manager's question. Our liquidity measurement answers the shareholder's question.
What happens when a filing gets old?
A portfolio leaves the holdings file once its newest filing is more than a year old. We would rather drop a row than project weights nobody should trust.
The liquidity row remains, because it is calculated from the fund's own trading activity rather than from the holdings.
How can we verify the numbers?
You can recompute them.
You can find the turnover, days-to-turn, and score formulas on the How It Works page. Each row includes the inputs those formulas run on, and every projection is calculated directly from as-filed weights and price history. Run the same date again and you receive the same result.
Every projected holdings row also identifies the method used to carry its weight forward and the report date of its source filing, so you can trace each position back to the original filing.
Which funds are covered?
U.S. registered mutual funds and ETFs that file Form N-PORT, drawn from the 50 largest U.S. fund complexes by mutual fund and ETF assets. The complex list is a maintained file rather than a scrape of the moment, so the universe stays consistent from one run to the next.
Can we license only the funds we need?
Of course. Entitlements are part of the scoping conversation.
A lending desk may want the entire universe in one nightly file. A wealth platform may prefer API lookups for a few hundred funds on its shelf. Both receive the same underlying data, scoped and priced for the way they use it.
What does it cost?
Pricing follows your fund universe, your delivery, and your entitlements, which is why there is no price list: the two shapes above are not the same product.

Is the liquidity score a rating?
No. It is a descriptive measurement of what the fund's own trading activity supports. It is not investment advice and it is not a credit rating, and it does not tell you what to do about a position. How the measurement enters your risk, margin, or operational decisions stays entirely with your team.
