Cost
Is 72 basis points expensive for this fund? The answer depends on the peer group.
The question. What does a share class cost, before and after waivers, and does that run high or low for its kind of fund?
The file. Fund fees, an entry per share class per prospectus date, identified by fund_isin. is_current marks the newest prospectus per class.
What an entry records.
- net_er_pct and gross_er_pct: the expense ratio after and before waivers, as filed in the Risk/Return summary. Net expense ratio is populated on 99.9% of entries, gross on 99.6%.
- turnover_pct: portfolio turnover, populated on 90% of entries.
- net_er_quintile, net_er_peer_median, net_er_peer_count: where the class ranks against a peer group defined by vehicle type and investment objective. The trio repeats for gross expense ratio and for turnover.
- max_front_load_pct, max_deferred_load_pct, fee_12b1_pct, redemption_fee_pct: the rest of the fee stack.
- expense_example_1y through expense_example_10y: the prospectus's own projected cost of a ten-thousand-dollar investment, across horizons from a year out to ten.
